01

Start with the winter design temperature, not the summer one

Central Asian markets span very different winter conditions: dry continental cities, high-altitude inland towns and milder southern regions. Ask for the expected minimum outdoor temperature at the installation site and use that figure when requesting a model option. A specification written only for summer cooling often leaves the heating side unverified.

02

What to verify on the heating side

Heating performance falls as outdoor temperature drops, and defrost cycles interrupt heating to clear frost from the outdoor coil. Both effects should be quantified for the model under consideration rather than assumed.

  • Heating capacity stated at the low ambient temperature you actually expect
  • Defrost logic and how often it is expected to cycle in local conditions
  • Whether the model is offered in a cold-climate configuration
  • Electric heating as an option where the building must hold temperature during extreme cold
  • Compressor type and whether output is modulated or fixed
03

Grid and installation factors

Low-temperature heating usually coincides with the season when grid load is highest. Voltage and frequency configuration should be confirmed together with the heating requirement, and the installer should check circuit capacity, cable sizing and drainage for condensate that may freeze.

04

Documentation to request

Ask for the model datasheet that shows the heating test conditions, the ambient rating, and the applicable certification or energy-label documents for the destination market. On this website, anything not yet confirmed for a specific model is marked as to be confirmed with the quotation rather than presented as a general fact.

05

Sequence that avoids surprises

Market brief (winter and summer conditions, building type, buyer segment) → model file (heating performance at low ambient, defrost behaviour, power configuration) → loading and logistics (packing, accessories, spares). Settling the first two steps before commercial terms avoids re-specifying a container after the order is agreed.
