Why the code matters more than the photo
Two units can look identical in a catalogue image and still differ in capacity, mounting, compressor technology and power supply. The model code is the only reliable identifier for a quotation, a spare-parts request or a customs document.
- Photos show the panel; the code defines the machine
- Customs and certification paperwork follow the code
- Spare parts are ordered against the code, not the picture
The parts of a typical Shinco model code
Most Shinco split and monoblock air conditioner codes can be read in blocks: a capacity block, a mounting block, and a technology block. The capacity block is usually a number in hundreds of watts of cooling capacity. The mounting block distinguishes wall-mounted from floor-standing and other cabinet types. The technology block indicates fixed-speed or inverter operation and the platform revision.
- Capacity block: for example 35 usually means a 3.5 kW class unit
- Mounting block: GW for wall-mounted, LW for floor-standing cabinet units
- Technology block: BP usually indicates an inverter platform
What the model list on this site covers
Our Shinco air conditioner index lists the categories, series and model references currently offered for export, with links to each model page. Where a specification is not yet confirmed from an official datasheet, the page states that the value is confirmed with the quotation rather than publishing an unverified number.
- Category and series structure for wall-mounted, floor-standing, portable, cassette and monoblock units
- Model pages listing what is confirmed and what is confirmed per order
- A model list you can send to us for a matched quotation
Information to send with a model enquiry
Send the destination country, the model codes you are comparing, the capacity mix you plan to sell, and the quantity or container plan. If you are converting an existing programme, send the incumbent model code as well so the request can be matched to the closest Shinco platform.
- Destination country and port
- Model codes or capacity range
- Container plan or estimated annual volume
- Certification and branding requirements
