When a standard split is not enough

A household split is usually sized on the assumption that the room is closed, the ceiling is average height and the outdoor temperature stays inside a normal band. In large living rooms, high-ceiling retail floors and rooms with a lot of glass or open foot traffic, those assumptions break down, and the complaint that follows is rarely about capacity on paper but about weak air throw and slow recovery. The HA series exists for that situation: it is the platform in the Shinco range that trades compactness for cabinet size and air volume, so the unit can deliver a stronger, longer throw instead of relying on a higher set point. Before choosing it, be clear about the room and about how the unit will be installed, because the cabinet footprint is larger than a standard indoor unit.

02

Built for very hot and very cold conditions

The HA series is intended for very hot and very cold ambient conditions, which in practice means markets where summer temperatures are severe and where heating is also part of the sales argument. The platform offers high-speed cooling and heating with constant-temperature control, so it can pull a room down quickly and then hold the set point instead of cycling widely, which matters both for comfort and for how the unit feels to the end user. Optional electric heating is available for programmes that need a stronger heating claim, and a multi-layer sterilising filter is offered for buyers who want a filtration message on the carton. Which of these options is fitted, and how the model is configured for the destination market, is confirmed with the quotation.

03

Larger cabinet, higher air volume, intended effect

Cabinet size is not a styling decision on this platform; it is what allows the higher air volume that defines the series. A larger indoor unit can carry a wider heat exchanger and a larger fan, so air moves in greater quantity and travels further from the outlet, which is the effect a customer notices in a long or open room. The trade-off is physical: a bigger cabinet takes more wall space and may not suit small bedrooms, and the outdoor unit and pipe run must be checked against the installation. That is why the HA series is normally positioned for large rooms, retail floors and light commercial spaces rather than as the default choice for every step in a household assortment.

  • Larger cabinet dimensions
  • Higher air volume and longer throw
  • High-speed cooling and heating
  • Constant-temperature control

Where the HA series earns its place

The HA series is most useful in markets with wide annual temperature swings, where the same unit has to cool hard in summer and still heat credibly in winter, and in projects where rooms are larger than a typical apartment bedroom. Central Asia, parts of the Middle East, North Africa and the colder highland areas of other regions all present some version of that requirement, and the destination priorities for those countries are set out on our market pages. In those markets a distributor often carries the HA series alongside a compact platform, using the compact unit for bedrooms and the larger cabinet for living rooms and commercial floors. That split keeps the assortment realistic instead of forcing one cabinet to serve every room type.

What to confirm before you order

Because the HA series is a larger platform, the details to confirm are slightly wider than for a standard split. Capacity step, compressor type, refrigerant and certification are confirmed with the quotation, and so are the cabinet and outdoor-unit dimensions together with the installation clearances that follow from them. Branding is set as Shinco or as an OEM private label per order, and optional items such as electric heating or the multi-layer sterilising filter are confirmed with the quotation for the model code you intend to sell. MOQ, lead time and container loading also depend on the mix you select, so request the quotation against specific model codes and check that the datasheet matches the carton before the deposit is paid.
