What an export channel actually looks like

Shinco is a high-volume consumer brand, and units sold outside the home market normally arrive through an export supplier, an importer or a regional distributor rather than through a brand-owned shop. The supplier's role is to hold the commercial relationship, the product files and the shipping capability that a container order needs. For a buyer, the useful test is not how large a company claims to be, but whether it can answer questions about the exact model you intend to purchase. A supplier working from real product files can name the series and platform and state which parts of a configuration are fixed and which are optional. A trader who only repeats a capacity list usually cannot.

  • The series structure, for example the SD, FB, FD, FM, HA, TFD and CQ wall-mounted platforms
  • Which configuration items are standard and which are options
  • Which documents travel with the shipment
  • How the units are branded, packed and loaded

Questions that separate a supplier from a reseller

Start with identity: ask the supplier to quote a model code and to send the datasheet that belongs to that code, not a brochure covering the whole range. Then ask what is confirmed per order and what is fixed. Refrigerant, capacity class, climate class, power supply and packing change between platforms, and a serious supplier says so instead of offering one answer for every model. Finally, ask how the quotation will be built and which fields the price depends on. Answers that stay specific to a single model are the clearest sign that you are dealing with a working channel rather than a pass-through.

  • The exact model code and its datasheet
  • What is standard and what is optional on that code
  • Which certification evidence applies to your market
  • How spare parts are identified against the code
  • Who is named on the contract and the invoice

Documents to request before you pay

A purchase decision in this category rests on paper. The quotation should name the model code, capacity basis, climate class, power supply and frequency, refrigerant, branding and packing data, and it should mark clearly which points are still to be confirmed. Certification is market-specific, so an approval that exists for one destination does not automatically cover another; ask which documents travel with a shipment to your country. Ask as well for carton dimensions, weights and loading quantity, because container planning is often decided before the price is finalised. If these items are missing from the offer, treat the document as a planning note rather than a purchase document, which is the approach set out in our guide on verifying a Shinco air conditioner quotation.

  • Model code, capacity basis and climate class
  • Voltage, frequency and plug standard
  • Certification scope for the destination market
  • Carton dimensions, weights and container loading
  • Warranty terms and who administers them locally
  • Spare parts list keyed to the models on the order

Why prices are not published as a list

Export prices for air conditioners depend on configuration, not only on capacity. Two units both described as a 12,000 BTU class product can differ in compressor type, refrigerant, panel, coil treatment, power supply, packing and branding, and each difference changes the cost. That is why the useful request is not a generic price list but a quotation against a described order: destination country and port, capacity mix, inverter or fixed-speed preference, power supply, certification requirement, branding and quantity. With those fields a supplier can return model-level prices, MOQ and loading data that you can compare across offers. Our Shinco model list shows the categories and series currently offered for export, so a first enquiry can start from a concrete structure rather than a wish list.

Using the market pages to write a better enquiry

Most first enquiries are too short to price properly, which costs time on both sides. Our market pages cover the destinations served most often in Central Asia and Africa, and each describes the climate, power supply and logistics context that shapes product selection there. Reading the relevant page before writing gives you a specification you can send: peak ambient conditions, coastal or dusty exposure, voltage and frequency, and the capacity mix you expect to sell. Buyers who arrive with those details usually receive a model-level answer in the first reply. The brand hub page for Shinco air conditioners lists the categories and series, including wall-mounted split, floor-standing, portable, cassette and monoblock units.

A first enquiry that gets a useful answer

Send the destination country and port, the capacity mix with quantities, your preference for inverter or fixed-speed operation, the power supply and frequency at the site, any certification requirement for the market, and whether you want Shinco branding or OEM private label. Add the documents you must file locally, such as a certificate of origin or a specific energy label, because these affect production and lead time. If you are replacing an existing programme, include the incumbent model code so the request can be matched to the closest platform. You can send this through the RFQ form on this site, by email to info@shinco-air.com, or by WhatsApp on +86 153 4228 1855. Any specification not yet confirmed for a specific model is answered as confirmed with the quotation, so the offer you receive states its own basis.
